Surrounded by the majestic peak of the Alps, both Innsbruck and Hall in Tirol are worth a visit for their location alone.
Innsbruck has been hosting the Olypmic Winter Games twice and thus calls the Olympic ski jump on the Bergisel its landmark. On the opposite side of the valley the Hungerburgbahn leads to the Alpenzoo, while the Nordkettenbahn goes even further and takes you all the way to the peaks high above Innsbruck.
Hall in Tirol, whose centuries-old history is has been shaped by the mint, is a charming medieval town and a visit at the still intact mint, the Münzturm, is absolutely worth a visit.
Both towns are an attractive destination for a day trip or for an evening stroll after an active day in nature. Both destincations can be reached by car, bicycle or public transport. There is a bus stop in close proximity to the hotel from the "A" bus leaves to Innsbruck every 15 minutes; there are also regular departures to Hall in Tirol.
